Does anyone know why the 400 is also being shown on TruTV?

I assume its either gonna be a direct simulcast or it will be some type of onboard coverage or something.

TNT Wide Open coverage from Daytona: TNT's signature Wide Open television format will return for the sixth consecutive year during the network's exclusive coverage of the Coke Zero 400 at 7:30 pm/et Saturday. In addition to the TNT telecast, the Coke Zero 400 -- traditionally the network's highest-rated race from the NASCAR Summer Series -- will also be simulcast for the first time on truTV. Wide Open coverage debuted during the summer race at Daytona in 2007, providing continuous race coverage free of national commercial breaks. It offers more than 20 percent unobstructed race action than the standard telecast by using a letterbox widescreen format to allow for a continuous scroll of race information. National sponsors featured in this year's telecast include: AndroGel, Coke Zero, Dodge Ram, Geico, Goodyear, Sprint, Toyota, Twitter and Viagra.(TNT PR)(7-4-2012)

Guys, guys. I think we're all missing the most important question concerning this weekend...
Spoiler:

Mashed Potatoes & Gravy?

or Mac & Cheese?

It probably would be funny if they didn't show it frequently.

I just realized... why are they even fighting over which side to get when the family had already left to get the food to begin with? The choice would have been already predetermined.

I shouldn't be thinking too deeply about this commercial.

Literally had the same thought. Hard to not think to deeply into them when they show them a thousand times over.

Denny Hamlin will sit out the Nationwide race due to a sore back.

Logano will move into the 18, while Clint Bowyer will drive the 20.

NASCAR must have changed their mind about the use of lubricants on the bumpers of the cars. They are going crazy on Austin Dillon's back bumper right now with aerosol lubricant.

Man, I feel for you guys and that KFC ad... on TSN, all we get is a "NASCAR in Canada" sponsor segment during commercials, over and over again ("Dodge is the number one selling car in Canada!!") with Rammstein's "Du Hast" playing in the background.

Terrible, I know.

/sarcasm

I have a feeling that if Bruton's mandatory caution idea comes to fruition, they'll want to get "creative" and have sponsors like KFC involved in what exactly brings it out.

"The caution has come out here at Daytona. Apparently what looks to be an elderly man and a teenager have ran out onto the middle the trioval grass and begun to wrestle about which delicious KFC side they want for dinner tonight! Too bad they didn't know that you could get two free sides with any Original Recipe Chicken Dinner for a limited time only! So which "side" are you on? Follow us on Twitter at hashtag #TeamTater or #TeamMac and we'll give you the results at the end of the race! Also be sure to get your commemorative #TeamTater and #TeamMac t-shirts exclusively at the NASCAR.com Superstore!"

Jesus...it's bad enough MRN does their "ServiceMaster Clean Caution" shit... but the sad thing is, I can totally see them doing this.

And the caution comes out for some debris on track...

If you look closely you can see that's a Subway Club sandwich, if you want to eat the best sandwiches around, pick Subway, eat fresh.

And Earl will jump out of his car, and tell us how wonderful Subway is...along with that douche that shows up in most of his commercials.
