It bugs me a little that the ARCA cars are faster than Nationwide...

Yeah, that seems really backwards in terms of safety and just how the two series present themselves.

And still Arca did something to slow the speeds down right?

I hope there's pack racing, no two car tango, but that would be cool aswell. I was just expecting to see a really fast Michigan and probably some RP on any of the series, creating pack racing since the Repaved test months ago. This will be fun.

The top practice speed in ARCA was a 193.143mph. Last year, it was 186.485mph.

There's been times in the past where ARCA cars have been faster than Cup cars at certain tracks. One that comes to mind for me is the July Talladega weekend from 1990. Earnhardt won the pole for the cup race at 192.513 mph, and Charlie Glotzbach won the pole for the ARCA race with a speed of 201.456 mph(and that's with a plate!). Watched a '91 race from Atlanta the other day as well, Bobby Unser mentioned the ARCA cars would be faster than the Cup cars there if it weren't for some stuff done to the cars....

So, it happens.

Shouldn't the race be started by now? The countdown on the site ended 30min ago and nothing on the streams.
