It looks like there were several incidents in ARCA practice yesterday:

-#02 Josh Williams backed into the wall, destroying the rear of his car.

-#92 Brennan Newberry pancaked he side of his car. They are going to a backup car.

-#32 Aleks Gregory suffered minor damage on his car.

#58 Chad Hackenbracht damaged the right rear of his car pretty badly and also damaged the rest of the right side of his car.

Kevin Swindell was the fastest in practice at over 193 mph, nobody else was over 192.

A couple Nationwide teams have tweeted that drivers are looking for drafting partners... So they can tandem draft. They have also cut off the ears on the sides of the spoiler.

I can't tell if this weekend is going to be HoF or SoS

Cutting off the ears on the rear spoiler will A) create less drag which means a bit more speed B) make the cars a little bit harder to handle in traffic and C) make it harder to suck up on a draft....interesting

Well, this race would be epic with or without plate, it's just something very special and unique. This and the 24h. It's my birthday sunday and I couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

Definitely going to see pack racing tomorrow.

But it seems if you barely get out of the groove the car get's really loose.

Looking at the time distribution, it seems like they are working on tandem drafting.

Goddamnit...

Kurt Just spun off turn 2 after taking all the winglets off.

How do the cars look out there, race wise?

They had about 8 cars lined up drafting early on, now just doing single car runs. The cars without the winglets on where getting too loose.

Mike Harmon has destroyed the 74 car going into turn one. Did not have the winglets on the car.

16 cars lined up on pit road about to go out.

So is this pretty much going to be a superspeedway race for the Nationwide guys, or will the tires eventually fall off and spread the field.

ARCA race is coming up at 5 ET if anyone cares to watch.
