The finish wasn't a letdown because I was expecting Kyle to duck out and take the win, I'm bloody relieved instead of disappointed.

I really think the cars have enough throttle response and are short enough on drag that the lead car can separate a little when it wants. They probably spent most of the race part throttle or dragging the brake when leading a tandem. I figure in the end he just kept his foot down going into three and when it broke the tandem Kyle didn't have enough time to build a run back up before the finish line.

It just felt like for the majority of the race the drivers were cruising around and only "got up on the wheel" for the last 20 laps or so...

Then there were too many little yellows that prevented getting a flow going...

The Race wasnt that bad but that finsih was just Anti-DEGA......

Yeah wed be alot more upset if kyle pulled a slingshot move on brad and won 2 in a row. take this as brad using some serious skills to win this race.

Disappointing that Kenseth didn't back up to Biffle there.. I thought it was a known deal you gotta drag your brakes if you're leading the tandem... oh well, 3rd with a car falling to pieces is ok with me.

Can we go for Kyle trying a slingshot but wrecking himself into the catch fence instead?

Well, I saw the first 110 laps or so, managed to get back home for the GWC. Missed the crashes, but was I saw what decent RP racing. The finish could've been better though. No one worked with Earnhardt, he would've pulled it off if he had a bit of help.

But too many people like them.

As much as that was an undramatic finish, Brad did win that thing very intelligently by shaking Kyle off his tail in 3. So an attaboy to getting win #2 at Talladega for him (in far less dramatic form than win #1 )
