im glad that im not a tony fan, cause nascar just stole that from him. the ONE thing that i liked about all this boredom was that at least they weren't throwing BS cautions. so now, the races are GODAWFUL boring AND there are BS cautions. kyle even just said in his victory interview that he has no idea where that caution came from. yikes.

nascar has to be thanking the jebus that dega is next week.

Tony Stewart said in his interview the last caution that came out while he was leading, was for a plastic water bottle on the backstrech, then he held up a Dasani water bottle to the TV camera.

I'm hoping Salem is more interesting tomorrow than the Cup race was tonight. Shouldn't be hard.

You guys really think Dega will be amazing?? it will be a Roush or RCR tandem willing to be 1-2 and everyone will flip their shit. The Nationwide and ARCA races though might save the weekend.

It's funny how everyone knew that was a bullshit caution, watch Tony get fined now for telling it like it is.

Dear God theres a water bottle on the track! A car might hit it and knock it out of the way without even damaging or noticing it, somebody throw the caution flag!

Seriously if NASCAR was trying to manufacture finishes they would have done it at Texas and Kansas already. Not to mentioned they would have done it with less laps remaining. I doubt it was a pint size Dasani bottle like Tony held up and if it was something similar then fuck the person that did it. Fan or driver..... On to Dega.

I don't think they are trying to manufacture finishes THIS season, but they have in the past as we all know. I think tonight was a knee-jerk reaction to all the complaining lately about races being boring, and trying to live up to the hype of the other 2 races this weekend. It was a bullshit caution though, and that was obvious.

FYI Dave Moody tweeted that the debris was a "big hunka metal on backstretch, saw it myself".... Just sayin

As a Tony fan who missed the finish to go to a party that I couldn't find because the place was way too far off the beaten path,

Oh well. It's unfortunate that Kyle won and Tony didn't, but oh well. It's not the end of the world.
