I think I found my pick for the win in the NWS race.

You'd be a fool to bet against Mark Martin.

6 NNS starts at this track; 4 wins, 1 2nd and a 6th are his finishes.

Is this an interesting track?

Rather, does it produce interesting races?

Reading through the past threads, it seems that most people are happy with the NASCAR races here. Last year, there seemed to be general satisfaction with the racing although everyone was annoyed at Shergar winning on Sunday.

I said it before, and I'll repeat it; I think the new banking did a lot of good for NASCAR racing here (blown tyres aside). It separated Vegas from the other D-shaped 1.5 milers on the calendar.

You know, race horse. Went missing decades ago and returned under the name Carl Edwards.

Carl Edwards looks like a horse? Never heard anyone mention that...

Calling Carl Edwards a horse is pretty lame

But very appropriate.

Calling earl cdwards a horse is pretty conservative. Technically he's a Gelding.

What would happen if Carl Edwards and Sarah Jessica Parker had a kid?

As a lame horse, it should be shot.

Saying that, it became a dead horse ages ago, though one that is still continually beaten.

Smith, Menard escape injuries in Colorado road accident

NASCAR drivers Regan Smith and Paul Menard, along with Smith’s wife Megan and a friend of the Smiths, escaped injuries in a Colorado road accident today (Wednesday, approximately 8:45 a.m. MT). The foursome was on the way to a nearby ski slope.

Smith lost control of his Silverado truck after hitting a patch of ice near his mountain home in Evergreen, outside of Denver. The truck slid off the road and crashed into a collection of trees.

Smith and Menard will compete in Sunday's Kobalt Tools 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Smith drives the No. 78 Chevrolet for Furniture Row Racing while Menard drives the No. 27 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing.

Wonder if Menard was actually driving.

If only Danica was driving, she'd have whipped those hands off the wheel so quick they'd have spun straight into the Ski-lodge car park undamaged.
