Its not happening today folks. Look at the crap due west off the coast. The mid level winds are going to carry it due west, right over Daytona.

Wouldn't need to cover the whole track though, just the outer circumference to where the oval stays dry. Still bloody expensive but might be worth it for your biggest race of the season. Heck they wasted $10m on an unnecessary reconfig of Phoenix. |

NBA All-Star Game coincidentally takes place not too far from Daytona Beach. Just an hour driver or so away in Orlando. That's a traffic jam for ya. |
