All I have to say (apart from what's been said already) that this is the strangest Speedweeks I've ever experienced.

That is all.

2005 was still wilder, I think

Flip in every race except Busch I think, and we even had a tragic fatality in the Dash race when a Marshal got run over.

And a near Tragedy in the ARCA race when that went to hell in the last few laps too...

Plus the debut of Truck Airbournes, a lot of people thought they were too slow to do that, little did they know we'd get 2 in one race to prove them wrong.

Ahhh, every speedweeks is crazy in its own way ;)

Second-longest Speedweeks thread we've had in TBK history.

23 pages or so shy of the 2010 thread, ironically enough.

That was 2004, I think.

2005 was also the year the Truck TV broadcast was delayed by 10 minutes, but nobody knew - those of us listening to radio only were ahead and didn't realise, and announced the first flip before the TV showed it, causing much confusion.

I disagree on 2005...yeah, it's strange, but I feel 2012 was stranger.

Because of another strange occurence that delayed the 500 twice (broken-up track).

2012 Daytona 500 - I was here for all 36 hours of it...Great race with a deflating finish. After all the delays and waiting we all deserved better than that...

If nobody is listening to the post race press conference, Greg Biffle is basically saying that no matter what he did he couldn't suck up to the back of Matt Kenseth's car. At one point he even said that it was the air between his and Matt's car that kept him from getting a run on him.

Was that the latest finish to a nascar race ever

If Boris Said was in the race he would've given Biffle that whooping he was talking about last year

There's no chance that's true at all. If he and Jr. had pulled to the outside lane at any point before turn 4 on the last lap they would have blown past Kenseth. Maybe he couldn't suck up to Kenseth's car on his own, but with Jr. pushing him that shouldn't have mattered.
I think what really happened was Biffle was trying to be clever and not make a move too early and he just ended up making himself look like a moron instead.

How could he not get up to Kenseth? Kenseths car wasint that good and Biffles car wasn't that bad.

Amazing that the ARCA race was the cleanest one in Speedweeks.

Also, I hope Biffle will eventually own up to his stupidity.

Oh well. I guess since I've been around F1 for long such finish doesn't surprise me.

Team loyalty still exists after all.

Either way, glad for Kenseth. His first proper win at the speedway anyhow.

I went to yoga after the red flag for Juan's wreck. Think I had more fun than you all who stuck around for the finish.

Take your foot off the brake then Greg and you might find the car runs faster.

Guess he was just acting as gunner to MK, didn't want to get chewed out again like he was Thursday.

It seems to me that Greg may really be RP racing challenged. His boneheaded moves during the 150's and during today race prove that. It probably didn't occur to him to go ahead and pull out to pass Kenseth, either that, or hes just a blatant liar!
