it looks like we'll get about 2 hrs of action then the rain is coming back...should not be a lot, the race will probably end at midnight or later but it should happen today.

Go to that link and click "Next 6 Hours" and press play on the map. Doesn't look too promising, but it looks like alot of it could just skirt the race track. It'll be stopped at least once though.

I don't know where they're getting their info from, but there's nowhere near a shield of rain over Florida like they are predicting.

There are isolated thunderstorms everywhere, and it'll be a miracle if none of them hit the track, but it'll be a brief shower and hopefully a brief cleanup period when it does hit.

NASCAR are probably aiming for 100 laps tonight and anything extra is a bonus.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

If they're racing to halfway, it's gonna be even more insane.

I said the same yesterday, but I don't think they have a choice.

Unless they keep going until 2am or something, they're probably not going to fit in the 4 hours of dry running they need.

I have a feeling this race is going to be pretty epic.

The unsure status of the rain will mean there won't be much sitting back and riding out, most of the drivers will be racing hard from the get go.

The late night start means conditions will be similar to the Bud Shootout and that's still most people's favourite race so far in Speedweeks.

And potentially there could well be a record number of viewers. (Will a 7pm Monday night race garner more viewers than a 1pm Sunday Afternoon race? :? )

All in all, pretty HOF potential I think, though now I've raised my own expectations, I'm sure no amount of great racing will be good enough to satisfy me :p

I just hope there's some epic MSN/SKYPE chatting to go alongside it. (Or an epic chatroom somewhere, I dunno...)

Oh my god, have just arrived from work and when I turned on Speed thinking I've lost one great racing, I saw it had been delayed again, hahaha, that's epic!

That radar is more rainy than I thought it would be at this hour. Now I'm worried.

I don't know if you guys mentioned it yet, but the Wood Brothers being the Grand Marshals instead of some fake wrestler is awesome!

Can you get sick? Just shove your finger down your throat when no one is looking.

  I'm away in Chrischurch for the week so even if I did manage to get off work to go to my accommodation I'd still not be able to watch, I think the best way of following the race is by reading this thread, so provide me with some great commentry guys!

Username?

I probably have you already, I just have the memory of Kyle Busch pretending he's the cleanest driver on the grid.
