According to Jayski, Mike Helton said there will be some sort of pre race tribute to Dan on Sunday.

Anyone know if there's someplace we can buy that as a decal? Perhaps the proceeds could go to Dan's families trust fund. I don't have a facebook so I can't post, but Graham Rahal's page has all sorts of info on it about the charity auction, etc. Perhaps someone can take that image (assuming NASCAR allows it) and send it to Graham so they can get decals made up? Proceeds go to the family sort of thing.

I was also hoping that, but I guess it's a bit less meaningful than the silent 3rd lap for Dale given Dan only ran the #77 once. His number for the Indy500 was 98.

NASCAR are doing a minutes silence, and the cars will be running Lionheart stickers.

Apparently the new pop-off valve that was supposed to change the 2-car drafts didn't work; Paul Menard and Kevin Harvick ran nose to tail for 12 laps before pulling back in during today's EFI test, and Harvick said he saw no sign of overheating.
