It's as if that car and the NASCAR 2000 Daytona 500 car mated.

Surprised that 24 font isn't copyrighted.

At quick glance, I thought it was Gordon running that car because of the font.

Nice tribute to Dick Berggren on the hood of the #10.

That 24 is exactly why I would have copyrighted that number, font, and style. I see that car and think it's a Hendrick entry, or a Jeff Gordon entry, or whatever, just looking at the number.

Is it just me or does that look like the Daytona/Talladega sized shark fin? :yuk:

The paint job looks great though.

Because it is.

Quote:
For tracks 2 miles or larger, NASCAR will use its longer "shark fin"-a panel that runs alongside the rear window and decklid of the car-that has been used at Daytona and Talladega to keep cars from getting airborne. On the short tracks, it will remain a minimum 17 inches long while they must reach all the way from the top of the car to the spoiler on tracks 2 miles or longer. This also will decrease the potential of car liftoff, which could have been an issue at some of the most recently repaved tracks-the 2.5-mile track at Pocono and 2-mile track at Michigan.(Sporting News)(5-12-2012)

Dale Jr.'s scheme is one of the best special paint schemes he's had in a while.

Let's see if he can continue the "movie car" win streak.

Does 1 win count as a streak?

[edit]Check that, just realized the Madagascar 3 scheme for Jimmie.
