Two shitty racetracks out of the way, now it's time to go fast and turn right. Once again, NASCAR's makes its annual pilgrimage to the road courses. Out west, the Sprint Cup Series heads to Infineon Raceway, where experts like Montoya and Ambrose will be big favorites to win on their turf.

Meanwhile in the midwest, the Nationwide Series makes their second trip to Road America. Ron Fellows in the JR Motorsports #7, Jacques Villeneuve in the Penske Racing #22, Max Papis in the KHI #33, and the rest of the Nationwide contingent will do whatever it takes to keep a certain horse from ruining everything.

Cup @ Infineon: Toyota/Save Mart 350 - Sunday @ 3pm ET on TNT
Nationwide @ Road America: Bucyrus 200 - Saturday @ 5:30pm ET on ESPN
ARCA @ Winchester: Winchester ARCA 200 - Saturday @ 8pm ET

Hopefully, rain postpones the Bucyrus 200 to Sunday so Earl is left with no choice but to miss it for Sprint Cup. It is however impressive how much he has improved on roadies in recent years that we fear him to be a sure-shot winner in a field of so many ringers.

They'd postpone it to Monday.

Really? I thought that was only in case it was a Cup companion event as all of Sunday is taken up by the Cup race proceedings.

They ran a Busch race at Kentucky during a Cup race at another track about 8-9 years ago. In this case I don't think it would be too big of a deal to get a slightly early start on Sunday and actually have the Nationwide race complete before the Cup race goes green.

Um... doesn't Nationwide run in the rain on road courses anyways? Ala Montreal?

It's been confirmed that Boris Said will be in the #51 car at Infineon. I think he can give that car a good run.

Isn't that a Montreal thing only since NASCAR absolutely want the race to be over by the weekend there?

There won't be any rains at Road America on saturday, since the weather there will be mostly sunny.

As you can see the weather forecast for this week at that track: http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USWI0218

It's true, tho. Robby's pit crew tends to fuck up a lot more than Kevin Harvick's (leading to very hilarious moments on the scanner...ask Joe for more details).

No, pretty sure they were going to slap on the rain tires at the Glen a year or two back also when the weather looked threatening.

Is Robby in the top 35 still? If he has to qualify on time, he won't even risk a qualifying run to try for a starting spot up front, he'll just be worried about setting a solid enough time to race on Sunday, which means, he probably won't even see the leaders on race day.

He will be locked in because the 21 team isn't competing this weekend.
