It's night racing at Daytona this weekend. Plus the return of TNT's Wide-Open Coverage for the Firecracker 400. Nationwide entry list (45 cars) Friday @ 7 pm ET (ESPN) Sprint Cup entry list (46 cars) Saturday @ 7:30 pm ET (TNT) |

I'll be there all 3 days. Kinda disappointed they aren't running the grand am event anymore though. I wonder how well the 2 car draft will work with the much hotter temps. |

The "It takes two to Tango" 400! Wooo! Remember the good ole days when it used to be the Pepsi Firecracker 400 and used to be ran at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning? Ah, the good ole days! |

And people back then used to moan how the racing was so much better in their day too... 2 car draft still shitty though. |

The 2-car draft provides a lot of lead changes and stuff, but I hate it for the sole fact that it doesn't depend on the driver anymore to win the race. You need to be pushed. You can't win a race by making your way through a massive pack. Earnhardt gave Johnson the win at Talladega and Labonte did it for Bayne in the 500. And since it's happening for long periods of time, I can't see then pulling a finish like the ones we saw at Talladega with Harvick/McMurray or Keselowski/Edwards. |

On the other hand we'll probably see tons of stupid cautions due to people punting each other out of the way. Thought it'd be a cold day in hell when Bristol has fewer yellows than a Superspeedway. |

Normally look forward to this weekend, but this 2 car draft shit has really got me disinterested. Just isn't as exciting as pack racing. |
