Robby's equipment has been so shitty, I doubt he'll get a top 10 this weekend. I know he pretty much runs 34 races out of the year just to run well at the two roadies, but I just don't think he can get it done here.

I hope I'm wrong, though. Robby's an interesting personality and is going it on his own, so I really hope he does well. Just being realistic, I guess.

It appears that Robby doen't give two shits about the cup program. All he wants to do is race dirt....he should go back to Indy Cars

If all he wants to do is "dirt race"...why would he go to IndyCar?

Not to mention, when was the last time Robby ran Indycars? I'm sure the money from his Cup program helps fund his off road fun. Doubt Indycars would be able to pull that kinda money.

So it appears qualifying will be delay till 11PM EST so SPEED can air 6 hours of car auction coverage, both of tomorrows practices will be delayed, and there wont be any televised practice or qualifying from Elkhart Lake at all. Kind of a big middle finger to those of us that actually enjoy road racing IMO

Another cool detail I just heard on the SiriusXM NASCAR station is that Edwards actually called the CEO (I think it was the CEO) of Fastenal to get permission to let Johnson drive the race and the guys essentially said, "sure, do whatever you all think is best." I know it's sort of a one-off circumstance but it's still cool to hear a sponsor being so cool about this situation. Shame that Rockwell wasn't so cool about it a few years ago when Hamlin had to take over for Almirola at Milwaukee.
