Well if you had the money you'd be out there as well. Instead of giving talented youngsters a chance they're running their Cup stars instead and if they do give young talent a chance they're under pressure to do good right away.

Well, sadly, it's an expensive sport.

Goddammit, Allgaier's wrecked.

Yeah, and that new points system sure did a great job to keep the Cup drivers out of the Busch and Truck series.

They need to do other things. Like withholding prize money from teams that field Cup drivers. Or move the races to more short tracks. Or whatever.

It's only going to get worse with the way things are going in Nationwide. Cash trumps experience and competency in order to pay the bills.

I'm not saying he's blameless for it at all, but there's no reason he should have been in this race to begin with.

I was thinking the same thing. More dumb / unnecessary crashes due to people behind the wheel that shouldn't be.

I wouldn't complain about a return to short tracks, bring back South Boston,Myrtle Beach,Nashville Fairgrounds and the others!

And team owner points as well.

More short tracks would be good as it would mean less doubleheaders with Cup but NASCAR don't really want to freeze Cup 'stars' out of NWS/trucks.

From ARCA's website:
Quote:
Duno will start from the first position in Sunday's 200-lap race by virtue of having the car that finished highest in owner points in 2010.

Wouldn't mind seeing a Nationwide Series regular win under any circumstance.

Red flag for rain. Josh Wise stayed out so he may have just stolen one if it doesnt stop raining soon as theyre now racing daylight.

I think the race would end in more tears if it were to go back racing, rather than ending now.

I've decided to do everything I can to get to the Arca race, for Milka's sake. My sisters confirmation may get in the way...

The other girl driving Venturini's #25 car should be starting way up too shouldn't she?

She could've gotten a good starting spot anyway with the good car she has. Was fastest in opening practice.

I don't know anything about her to know how good of a driver she is. edit: Alli Owens drove Venturini equipment too and didn't fare so well.

Elliot Sadler: In this new points system you have to be consistent and you have to run every lap.

...which is different from the old system?
