I read the thread title as "ARCA Rejected".
Michael Annett in the Rusty Wallace #62 in Nationwide
Pastrana in the 00 instead of the 99 is silly marketing-wise.

I think all the Roush guys will be back in their Sprint Cup cars in 2011 (6-Ragan, 16-Biffle, 17-Kenseth, 99-Edwards).

I don't think Kahne's running #4... there's an issue with Morgan-McClure or something.

I read that Morgan-McClure is looking at returning for next year.

Also, the #56 Nationwide Series team is shutting down. I read that on Jayski yesterday.

Travis Kvapil probably won't be in the #16 truck full-time next year because he said not long ago that he's going to be back in one of the cup cars for Front Row Racing next year.

Kenny Wallace confirmed on Twitter that he will not be racing for Jay Robinson next year. Also, read on Jayski's that:
Quote:
SPEED's Larry McReynolds mentioned during Nationwide Series qualifying at Homestead that Kenny Wallace hopes to run a limited schedule next season for his brother, Rusty Wallace.

I think driving for Rusty isn't a bad move for Kenny Wallace. Kenny was essentially driving a 3rd Rusty Wallace car at Gateway and he had a real shot at finishing in the top 10 before he had a bad final pit stop. I think Rusty's equipment is much better than Jay Robinson's equipment right now. Kenny wasn't able to contend for top 10 finishes on a regular basis in Jay Robinson's car. Kenny Wallace said on twitter several times that Robinson's engines didn't have the power that the other teams had and that's why they were largely uncompetitive at a lot of the speedways, in particular.

It looks like Tri-Star Motorsports, which fielded the #34 and #35 Nationwide teams full time and had the #36 entred as a start and park entry will be running at least one car in 2011. Appearently they have a driver and sponsor signed for one car. My guess is that the driver is David Stremme since he said recently that he was "really close" to signing a sponsor to run full-time in the Nationwide Series in 2011. It makes sense cine Tri-Star is one of the teams looking for a sponsor in 2011.

As far as ARCA goes,

I don't see why Frank Kimmel wouldn't be back in the #44... Hixson Motorsports will probably run at least one car (#23), Venturini will have at least 1,if not more(#25), Peterson Motorsports will probably have the #0 and #06, Brad Smith will likely be racing in his #26, Darrell Basham should at least race at Daytona if ABR is preparing a car for him. I'd assume Eddie Sharp Racing would also have a car or two next season. I'm sure more pieces of the puzzle will fall into place as the offseason goes on.

I work about half a mile from their race shop. They're dead. There's nothing going on at Morgan-McClure.

It's now been rumored that Eric McClure will take the Hefty sponsorship to Tri-Star. In that case, you may as well scratch the Rensi 24, cause I doubt they'll continue without sponsorship.

A new team named Diversity Motorsports has been started. Bob Schacht is listed as one of the majority owners. They plan to field a Nationwide team with Mike Bliss driving and an ARCA team with Ricky Byers, Nick Pistone, and Hannah Baker splitting seat time.

Also, Mark Gibson Racing is shutting down. They ran the #59, #9, and #68 in ARCA last season.

Would be interesting to see how Diversity Motorsports goes. On the other end, it's unfortunate to see Mark Gibson no longer in the racing business.

Diversity Motorsports seems like a team you would want to root for because of what they're racing for. I hope they do well.
