Dammit, I've never seen any driver get as much out of shitty race cars as Jeff Gordon does, week in, week out. He was junk all night, and picked up 6 spots in the last 40 laps or so.

As much as NASCAR makes it a point to emphasize winning, the funny part is that it can all go to hell at Loudon next week. Here's to hoping! *chug*

ARCA race just finished...Looked pretty bad from watching timing.

Chris Buescher won. Only 4 cars finished on the lead lap, 5th place was 2 laps down, 6th place was 3 laps down, 10th place was 6 laps down, 13th place was was 16 laps down.

On the road back from Toledo. Race wasn't that bad really. Lots of cars had tire failures or other mechanical problems while running near the front or leading. Also several cars were damaged in a turn 3 pileup a little before halfway. There were also a lot of start and parks unfortunately. So there weren't a lot of passes per se but a lot happened and it was unpredictable. Enjoyable race. Disappointed that the Ford Focus midget race was rained out on Saturday evening however. Will post my pictures in the next day or two including the big wreck.

The results don't show that Chris Buescher had to work his way through the field from starting towards the back due to points.

Dan also got the best photo of the Aaron's Lucky Dog ever. I'll let him post the picture and explain.

Can't believe how bad Jr, Kahne and Biffle ran. Kenseth was running strong, dunno how he ended up 14th. Always fun to watch him dig on the high line. Atleast the Chase should be wide open from the looks of things. Anybody but Jimmie this year. :flag:

Cool Toledo pics, thanks.

Yeah, Kahne and Biffle surprised me. Jr was apparently trying something new, and it obviously didn't work.

As for Kenseth, I guess pretty much every adjustment they did to the car made it worse  They went backwards, normally they're terrible at the start and get it decent at the end, but this time they started decent and then went backwards from there.

Thanks for the Toledo pics. It's too bad SPEED doesn`t cover ARCA on the short tracks like they used to.

A kid's balloon popped, and Lucky Dog acted like Ol' Yeller getting shot. Words cannot express how awesome this picture is.
