That was an awesome race.. but fuck.. I wanted Kenseth to win that so badly. He got screwed when he was able to let Biffle get to his outside.

I missed the 2nd half but listened to it on the radio. I was trying to figure out if it was actually good or the typical "holy shit this race is awesome" on radio but really just "ok" on TV.

Here's my question.. was it the track, or the tires? I heard the different compound of tires made the cars feel more like the old cars, and that they'd respond to adjustments more similar to the old car as well.

Agh! I didn't get to catch a bit of it on TV today, just some random radio bits. Looks like I missed out...

Way to go Biffle :)

Myers Stripped Of Martinsville Win
By Official Release
September 24, 2008 - 4:11pm
NASCAR announced today that the unofficial results of Saturday’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour/NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour combination race at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway have been revised due to a rules violations discovered during post-race inspection of the first-place car – the No. 1 driven by Burt Myers.

The car was found to be in violation and did not conform to rules (transmission gear was not within the specified limits) of the 2008 NASCAR Touring Series rule book. The violations were discovered during post race inspection on Sept. 20.

The rules violation dropped Myers to 43rd in the official race finish. All other drivers in the event moved up one position in the official finishing order.
