In other words, don't watch it when the X Games is on. But you can tune into the Iowa NW race if you want to see JWT fuck up again.

Truck race will be the best race ever held at Pocono.

Why?

Because it's only 50 laps. By the time you fall asleep it will be over! YAY

Tomorrow at 10AM, and yes, it will more or less what the nationwide cars do at the road courses these days.

Far as ARCA goes, it looks like it wont be a complete runaway based on practice speeds at this point. Instead of the fastest car being almost a second faster in practice like the June race, this time 7 cars are within a second of each other. For this track Id call it an accomplishment.

Hearing that Dave Burns will replace Vince Welch for the Nationwide telecast. Vince Welch was in a car accident but is okay.

I can't believe how much faster the top 2 in qualifying were compared to everybody else. Hopefully Juan can have a decent run to make up for a disappointing Indy finish.
Also, hopefully after the truck race Nascar will take notice and maybe lower the length of the Cup races there for next year. 1,000 miles at Pocono within 2 months is awful. A 350-miler there would be plenty.

I like that Pocono is still old-school enough to run 500 milers. People seem to ignore the fact that NASCAR races are supposed to have an endurance factor built in, for the drivers and the cars. Of course NASCAR f-ed that up at this track with the gear rules, but it still cool to see these guys and cars go 500 miles. If it is too boring for you... dont watch! :)

Looks like they got the qualifying done in record time with this method. It'll probably be in Nationwide and Cup soon as it can prevent a lot of rainouts.
