For those interested Hornaday won the race.

You all were too busy talking about the fight to tell me who won. I had to go all the way to another website.

The incidents on the track were obviously David Starr's fault, but the actual fight was just an example of why some of those guys are crew members and don't drive racecars. David said that he would be fine just talking to the drivers, but apparently one of Bodine's crew members stuck his finger in Starr's face and pulled him out of his truck. I actually found it pretty amazing that a guy as small as David was able to take half a dozen of immature 300-pounders without even taking a hit. I don't think that david should be penalized more than 25 points, but some of those crew members deserve suspensions for being so incredibly unprofessional.

I have a feeling that these crew fights will become more common now that most of the crew members are failed jocks.

Seriously, those tards escalated the situation when it didn't need to be (but it was still awesome). They started the fight, Starr was just defending himself. NASCAR would be out of line to penalize Starr at all.

You know, if I didn't know any better, I would say that picture looks as if the trucks are racing into the crowd.

Damn, missed it while at Salem today. Any chance you got a vid of it for us?

In ARCA news, Frank Kimmel won the Salem race. Half of the damn reserved seats were taken by people rocking 01 Aisin Sean Caisse hats who knew nothing about auto racing. Great race as always -- track was super slick early on and passing was nearly impossible, it meant we saw a lot of the front runners getting stuck behind each other and getting impatient. Scott Speed and Ricky Stenhouse got into it a few times during the race. The biggest wreck of the night was a nasty pileup down the backstretch. Dexter Bean spun all on his own off turn 2 and came back up into traffic. Tom Hessert, Brian Silas, Scott Speed, and a couple others all piled in, but then as they came to a stop, Josh Clemons didn't slow down much and just SLAMMED into Hessert's driver side just in front of the door. It was scary to watch in person (in the video I took that's uploading right now, you can hear Kessinger or somebody say "He's hurt" -- that's incorrect, everybody actually walked away thankfully).

Edit -- here's video of the big Tom Hessert/Josh Clemons crash: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5s79yrSEA0&fmt=18

Exactly, if you watch the clip, the second Germain Racing crew member to come in, pushes David Starr and thats why Starr goes back and starts swinging. Nascar will find someway to screw it all up tho.

Epic fight though. But I don't understand, what happened with the police? I didn't see the race, only the clip online.

Nice to know the chase begins today. I won't miss this race for nothing and I hope anyone else but Busch may win this race.

Jeez, Todd Bodine's crew is a disgrace. Yeah it made for an interesting end to the race but this shit with the crews getting involved is retarded. Glad to see Starr wasn't having any of it.

Did Kenny Wallace pick Joey Lagano to win?...... if so, I feel like I need to kick a toddler.

Next year, NASCAR Raceday needs new co-hosts....Jimmy Spencer has become so annoying its not even tolerable anymore, and Kenny Wallace.....is just Kenny Wallace.

I don't think that NASCAR raceday is even neccesary. Same thing than every pre-race show, just earlier.

RaceDay ran it's course a few years ago. I don't think it needs to go away, but shorten it's length.

It should be the official pre-race show. Ending like 10 minutes before pre-race ceremonies, and just before the other channel starts it's broadcast.
