It's like a train wreck, if a train couldn't spell.

Keep in mind, Carter once tried to get Jeremy Mayfield to drive for him. So thing's could always be worse.

I'm not saying that some of the people involved with this are stupid, but it seems like they have bad luck with thinking.

next week's race at Salem will be PPV streamed live on ARCARacing.com. Price is very reasonable too ($9.98 is very reasonable compared to most PPV races that can range from the $20 to $60 dollar range)

That's 20 bucks less than they charged for the Nashville stream. Good to see ARCA learned their lesson.

Would have made the trip to Salem if I wasn't on a budget, going to Texas in October and December

Everyones favorite team owner is back in trouble. None of this cars will be there at Kansas tonight for a few reasons.

A. His check to Carlos Lira bounced on the 40.
B. Ilmor wont give him a motor, even if he has a cash in hand.

C. Ray Ciccarelli who was scheduled to drive the car is extremely angry.

Carter 2 Motorsports has withdrawn both cars from Kansas. Meanwhile, they're still ticking off fellow drivers and teams:

I'm wondering how many pissed off people it's going to take before the Carters finally accept the fact that they're the problem.

General Tire replacing Hoosier as tire supplier starting next year, wonder if they will bring a new tire or if it's just a re badging of the current Hoosier tires (cough Continental in IMSA & NASCAR Mexico cough)
http://www.arcaracing.com/articles/1998 ... ng-in-2016

edit: General Tire is owned by Continental so I figured that is the case

It sounds like ARCA has banned Carter 2 Motorsports until their legal issues are resolved. That might take a while for them to resolve all of their issues.

I wondered how long that was gonna take. I was also wondering how long it would take before people would quit trying to pay them to drive one of their cars when it's clear as day how shady they are.

One thing I forgot to mention after the races a few weeks ago is that I've heard that up to 15 races will be on TV next year, with 10 on FOX Sports (as usual), and CBS Sports Network upping their deal from 3 to 5 races. The remaining races may end up being PPV. Just a rumor, but it'd be nice to see the whole series televised in some way.

It looks like ARCA will be returning to Madison International Raceway in Wisconsin next year now that track ownership has stabilized.

Composite bodies officially announced to be legal at all tracks with exception to Daytona & Talladega for 2016.
