An interesting name is going to be on the entry list for Daytona.

Apparently the Daytona race is gonna be on FOX. Truly a waste to put The Absolute Worst Stock Car Product Imaginable in such a good broadcast slot.

All superspeedways are a joke, regardless of the series

Sure, but ARCA is the worst by a comfortable margin. The most drag, the least HP...absolute crap.

Not to mention drivers who don't know what they're doing, but not even in a fun, unpredictable way. Just in a "ride around in line for an hour straight, and then when you do finally decide to try something, the run falls apart because nobody knows how to work together" way.

As I type this, Katherine Legge, and Garrett Mitchell, who is Cletus McFarland on YouTube are in the top 5 in ARCA testing and that's not a sentence I ever thought I would be typing.

Glad I'm not the only one perenially irritated by this. It's the race that everyone who's not a regular viewer of the sport tunes in for and thinks that's how the sport is -- everyone flat-footing all race and only lifting to avoid hitting the car in front too hard. Where a mid-packer can hang with the multi-time champions all day. A race like the Southern 500 at Darlington ought to be the showcase event instead -- a real test of driving, passing, and tire management.

I think the horse left that barn decades ago lol

just look at all of the DARF's complaining about both the Clash and the All-Star Race being at short tracks instead of superspeedways

good on ARCA getting a national free-to-air broadcast slot though

I had to look up DARF but it's very apt.

Yeah, perks of being owned by NASCAR now, I guess.

"dumb annoying race fan" (DARF) term was coined by a certain podcast on Jr's podcast network

ARCA's increased air-time I gotta figure is related with Cup being on a lesser scale with Amazon & Xfinity on it's own thing. Same with them picking up IndyCar

He does seem to have hit the ground running. It was quite funny seeing his name alongside names such as Helio or Katherine.
