just noticed this. between the top 3 NASCAR touring series, this is the 6th race this year sponsored by Camping World. there are 4 more left after this one.

Camping World is the new Lucas oil.

I miss the days of Lucas Oil sponsoring anything and everything. They still do to some degree, but nowhere near as badly as they did a couple years ago.

If he finishes well ahead of Clint Bowyer (and maybe a host of others ahead of them should they have trouble) on Saturday night.

Well, I'm hoping he does and that Bowyer gets knocked out.

do you mean Lucas Oil sponsoring the stadium, or Lucas Oil Stadium sponsoring a car?

Probably both. I can't fathom how Lucas Oil gets the money to title-sponsor an NFL stadium, let alone the home of the Indianapolis Colts.

Logano will attempt his Cup debut this weekend. Hope he doesn't affect any of the chase hopefuls.

Expect some changes to the entry list because the #4 and #16 teams might have closed.

I hope that Ragan makes it into the Chase and Jr. can win at Richmond.

Logano's been testing CoTs for Gibbs since early last year at the latest.

Cool. Hope to see him have a smooth debut.


Ragan's performance here last year was pretty damn good, so it's coming at a good time if he can back it up. Problem for him is that Bowyer and Kahne are both Richmond winners and his longshot opponent to knock from the Chase (Hamlin) was on rails all night last time at Richmond before the flat tire struck him down.

Well before it happens, does anyone want to chime in with one of those cliche "If Logano wins I'll leave the forum for x-amount of time" posts?

If Logano doesn't win I'll leave the forum forever.

I'm going to say Jr. wins the race and Kahne races his way in. I just have a feeling Bowyer and Ragan will run into problems while Kahne has a top 5 run.
