We tried our best Bowman Gray impressions last night.

And the rest of the video I took. Hardest crash happened at about 8:38 in the video. They go three wide on a restart in the V8 bombers and somebody gets ridden up into the wall pretty hard.

ARCA braking in an ARCA/CRA race at IRP turns a two car incident into a thirteen car pileup.

Wow, what a loon. I wonder how many people witnessed him embarrass himself in such a spectacular fashion.

Guess it's time for Woodski and I to raise some hell in the stands.

My highlights from a great night of racing with the PASS South Series at Orange County Speedway. Featuring some great racing between the two second generation drivers of Kyle Grissom and John Hunter Nemechek as well as onboard video from Brandon Ward's hard head-on crash into the turn 1 wall.

Jim Cohan, CEO of Irwindale Speedway wrote:
I want to thank every single fan that came out last night for our 'Night of Destruction'! It was our largest crowd of the season and once we see all the numbers in a couple days, we may find that it was record territory for a speedway event. Seeing the place packed and watching the fans cheer and cause the stands to rattle with all that energy, reminds the entire team here at the Irwindale Event Center of why we reopened the facility and do what we do. It's for you, the fans. It takes a lot to keep the nicest short track in the country, in business. And we need your support so that we have more nights like last night. So, please keep sharing the word and bringing your friends and family out. We know one thing... First timers have so much fun that they're hooked! So come on out to our last race of the season next Saturday night November 2nd and help us close out a great 2013 with a bang! It'll be an evening of great racing and Fan Appreciation Night. Cool giveaways all night long and fireworks as a finale!
Oh, and how about this 'from the horse's mouth'?.... There's some lousy journalism out there saying that 2014 is our last season at the speedway.... That December 31st is it...over....done...finished. I'm here to tell you NOT SO. If we continue to get the support from the fans and the racers, then there's plenty of reason to believe you'll see a 2015 season as well. So, don't believe everything you read.
For now, let's send 2013 into the books in style. I hope to see all of you out here next Saturday night... Sending your favorite racers into the off season with smiles on their faces as they hear you stomping your feet in the grandstands...bringing down the house! From all of us at the IEC, thank you!

Every racetrack promoter/owner says that stuff.

So this will be A&E's 2nd (that I know of) motorsports show called Dirt Track Outlaws (first being Madhouse which was on History, a A&E owned network). I have exactly raced against one of the drivers that will be in this show.

In other news I am hoping to get back on the track in January at Charlotte and hopefully try to get some funding for maybe Winter Nationals @ Auburndale or Thursday Thunder at Atlanta.

EDIT: plans haven't worked out :(

Sweet man, are you running the road course and the oval?

I'll be there and Auburndale.

As far Winter Heats, the oval for sure. It all depends on what happens the next few months with several things, car got messed/sabotaged up by my dad (having some domestic issues right now, long story, main reason why I haven't been able to race at all the last 5 months) and if I can get the funding to run. I hope to run the full series though and maybe get some funding to run out of state. I think I will be in your division next year too lol.

Well, I'm jumping in the deep end.

Making the big move to North Carolina in March to chase the asphalt dream.

I'll be in a legends car again but this time with Chase Pistone's team, so I have some pretty high expectations. Hopefully 10 late model races at the end of the year with Eddie Sharp's team at Hickory if the funding is there!

Really excited to say the least. Hopeful.

My season was all around disappointing. 4 engine failures in 4 races, had to miss the rest of the season with car issues. We're building a new car that I can race for a track championship with next year.
