Big Block portion moved to a mid week slot alongside Street Stocks to remove the conflict with Eastern States; will be slated between ESW & Georgetown (for now).

Whole lotta mess.

Fonda for instance, and I assume other Brett Deyo tracks, are going to allow Hoosier rubber... If you can get that. You have to run Hoosiers on all 4 corners if you choose and you are ineligible for the American Racer money.

news recap by WXII 12 News

New asphalt has caused quite a bit of issues; the track added drainage pipes in the corners & the new surface has tons of bumps in it now - especially on corner entry on both ends of the track.

Hunter Rich, a Classics driver at Wartburg Speedway in eastern Tennessee was involved in a nasty on track altercation with a track official on Saturday night. Due to his actions, Rich has been banned from competing at pretty much any track in eastern Tennessee as a result (411, Smoky Mountain, Tazewell, Wartburg, I-75 and others).

Um... Yeah, so for the Big Blocks they have listed both DIRT and the STSS. Those two series don't use the same engine or tire rules. If they allow both, STSS rules are the only way. Big small blocks and American Racers. Moot point though. No one is towing to NC for a Tues/Weds race.

Nothing yet for the 410's. I'll be surprised if they get either WoO or ASCoC to play. Might get some names from PA to drag down there if they're paying big money but if they get 20 cars I'd be surprised.

I'm not a believer in the XR series. I get why the Late Model guys are there, take the money while you can. Sadly I don't think they're going anywhere unless SMI wants to stop bankrolling it.

uh Hamke, I know this is a promo post for the carbon seat - but I don't think it's a good idea to have it halfway outside the car (even if it's a shop mule/showcar - just sets a horrid example)

I'm surprised BG haven't had anything stupid happen prior to that this year tho. Large majority of the competitors aren't happy about the quality of the repave that the city did, as the placement of the new drainage system added about 15 or 20 bumps in the worse possible spots (especially corner entry on the middle & outside grooves)
