Indeed, which actually makes the whole thing pointless. It is about breast cancer awareness, and we are all aware it exists anyway. The money spent on advertising the fact a disease exists should be spent on trying to cure the disease itself.

I agree, I think that what the NFL and NASCAR did with the "breast cancer awareness" was just an attempt to cater to female fans. I've also hated the fact that pink is the color associated with breast cancer awareness, as men can also get breast cancer (yes, I know, it's rare).
