As awesome as that looks, it won't stay. Its far too draggy to be used, especailly if the other cars are going to look like the nice rounded Fusion and Camry.

They'll need to do a lot of work equalizing the cars aerodynamicly if Dodge want to run that. I hope they do, it looks great.

I like the concept, but the execution is a little weird. The front looks pretty good, but the sides and the rear just don't go with it at all.

New, more expensive car + Sponsors pulling out left and right and either leaving the sport or signing few race deals with big name teams = RIP all Independent teams (HEROES)

Any books I can read about the commercialization of NASCAR by the way?

Taurus and Camry look way better than the Challenger IMO.

the production Challenger does have a higher drag coefficient than the Charger (.353 vs. .33). i guess Dodge figured they'd stick to the whole "make the Nationwide series a pony car series" concept, while everyone else decided to stick with jellybean-style generic look (although i guess there's a bit more manufacturer identification than the Cup COT).

i do like how the splitter is molded into the front end (like the trucks used to be) instead of the stupid strut-supported version.

Correction on my last N'Wide COT pics, apparently the Ford is supposed to be a 2010 Fusion, not a Taurus. Compare:

Sorry!
