I think the Nationwide Race at Bristol has the potential for some hilarity. Milka Duno is on the entry list in Robby Benton's #29 car. Not only is she entered, Jon Wes Townley is also on the entry list.

The first thing I thought when I heard that was, no big deal, IRL already has the adjustable weight jacker in the cockpit. Now you can take a few turns of wedge out without having to pit... Oh unless that motor shorts and spins that fucking jack bolt way up the rear window and the car just goes into a death slide the next corner entry....

It takes away one of the nicest things of Nascar - you have to hang on if there's something bad with the car. But this can really help with the aeropush. It's nascars version to the F1 ajustable front wing. I just hope this don't make a new Michael Schumacher, that had an advantage changing the incar setup controls all the time.

If any track turns into a speedway, like the old IRL package, I'm kinda good with it, as the Stock cars can have close racing much better. Because they're harder to drive and can push each other and block nicely. It would be much better than the aeropush boryness that we have now.

The stock cars will be a lot safer when they hammer the barriers at 200mph at Texas than the Indycars were back in the Russian Roulette days too.

It appears all the drivers are in favor of the shorter spoiler with less DF and stickier tires.

But who knows if NASCAR will listen.

I'd like to see both in the race, make each Michigan and Kansas races with the different settings, Pocono also. Even if everyone gets spread out, it would be interesting because of the new racing dynamics.

Everyone spread out is already existing as the most common dynamic.

Whatever they decide, I just hope it doesn't make the cars "too easy" to drive. Don't hate me, but that is the impression I get when I watch indycar.

Steve LeTarte (sp?) said the low DF package was really promising, Keselowski said it drives like a real race car again, and speeds where topping 225mph going into turn 1…

I heard somewhere there's a rumor that Darlington may get back its Labor day date.

That's confirmed by Jim Noble on Twitter. Darlington takes the Labor Day date, Atlanta as the second race of the season.

That would be great. Easier on the teams to have the second race on the East coast as well instead of hustling all the way out to Phoenix.

There's only one flaw about that: weather. Atlanta area's known for their snowstorms in late February.
