Chevrolet will finally unveil their new car on 11/29. Guess you all will have to deal with the weird spy pattern for another month and a half.

I'm inclined to guess that we'll be seeing the diecast render before then.

Too bad Newman never did anything on the pole most of the time.

And a lot of those 12 wins were on fuel mileage...

Newman's got 2 more wins than Kasey Kahne, who most people consider a major talent, and has been in the series 10 years to Kahne's 8.

I just saw the entry list for the truck race at Martinsville. They've got 42 trucks entered, including one new team. Matt Merrell is going to drive the #35 Chevrolet for Win-Tron Racing. Ryan Truex is going to be in the #27 truck. Tim George Jr. is bringing Applebee's sponsorship to the #93 team. The #60 Turn One Racing truck is entered but there is no driver listed. I'm also surprised that Jeff Choquette isn't entered, I heard on Speed during the Iowa race that they were going to run this race but he's nowhere to be found.

Disagreeing with posts implying Newman's results have been unimpressive. Thought that was obvious?

I thought Kyle Petty's take on Danica on Wind Tunnel was one of the best appraisals of her stock car career thus far.

If you didn't get to see it, basically, he said she's proven nothing to no one about her supposed skill set as a race car driver.

Gotta agree.

But... but... Darrell Waltrip said she was the best driver in NASCAR!!! Didn't he mention the part about how Danica invented the technique of letting go of the wheel before impacting the wall? Thank goodness, because nobody was doing that before she came along!!!

[/sarcasm]

I have seen improvement in her honestly, and it's been fun to watch. I'm not saying she's a amazing driver, but it gives me something else to watch and keep tabs on during the race. Entertainment?

Same goes with Johanna Long, now that's a talented driver that needs to swap rides with Danica.

Johanna Long is far more talented than Danica in most departments.

It goes without saying that in this day and age standing up for yourself is one of the first priorities for a rookie, but that doesn't include going on TV and spewing it out like some pre-pubescent chipmunk usually found in the Carburettor Cup servers. Kyle Petty obviously has a beef with DP, but he's right, with any luck it won't be long before even godaddy get fedup with her and she goes back to Indycar with her tail between her legs.

Danica is nothing more than a PR stunt. Johanna and Simona have the talent to run with the best in the right circumstances but Danica is too busy fighting herself. Hate the fact that someone who's only ever done anything because of fuel mileage gets a drive over someone like Regan. And here attempt at "wrecking" Landon was just stupid.
