The current points leader out for Stenhouse next season? Seriously?

I'm at a loss.. I've been a Kenseth fan as long as I can remember.. I figured he'd have the Gordon deal, with Roush till he retires. Don't get me wrong, there were times I wish he'd jump ship, when Roush's performance was awful.

However, Kenseth in the 17 with Roush is pretty much all I've known, so yeah, wow. I REALLY don't want him to go to Gibbs though, I can't really stand any of their drivers. I honestly would like to see him at Stewart-Haas.

Feel the same way Gael. Hell I really got into NASCAR because my dad worked for Bayer when he drove their NNS car and he was the first driver I got to meet. Its sad to see him out of the 17 all because of sponsorship, I just hope that wherever he ends up, he finds the same level of success.

It's going to be very weird to see Matt Kenseth not in the #17 car. I've heard that he could end up in a 3rd car for Penske. That would keep him with Ford. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. does deserve an opportunity in cup because he's come a long way in the Nationwide Series and has accomplished a lot over the last couple of seasons.

Matt would be great at Penske.

Trevor has yet to impress me as much as Ricky has. Granted he's had more setbacks with the illness and everything but regardless, Ford will want to hold on to both.

It's pretty incredible that Roush have such a hard time getting sponsors despite being Ford's main team and having championship contenders in the fold.

its because roush charges so much.

I'm guessing Stenhouse will do full time Cup in the #6, and that'll give Trevor the ability for full time Nationwide.

Yea, it might be time to charge a bit less I think. I mean, they were beat by a satellite team last year, who don't have any sponsor trouble either for the most part.

Whoa... I don't like Kenseth, don't hate him either... he is just kind of there, like vanilla ice cream or something, but yeah this is pretty shocking. I remember Matt winning that busch race at the Rock in an unsponsored car and Roush gobbling him up. I'm feeling feelings about this. It makes me hate Roush even more. I feel bad for Matt, even though I know he'll still get a good ride. Also, I really don't like Ricky. Don't want to see that little piggy in a cup car. He is less talented than Logano, and Joey is still struggling to be consistent.

Matt moving to Gibbs would be wierd. Gibbs only hires whiny bitches, maybe this will unlock a new side of Matt we haven't seen much of.

Or maybe this will usher in a new non-douche era at Gibbs, closer to their Labonte-Stewart years. They just need to fire Denny and Kyle... I can dream.
