They should race at north wilks but ONLY in the rain. Send the water truck out there every 20 laps if it’s not actually raining.

Short ovals.

Martinsville is so flat that it's pretty much a road course with only left turns.

If the RF can hold for an entire stint, just go for it.

It's kind of an intermediate tyre. The window of use could be very, very slim.

Yeah, pretty much any flat, slow track like Richmond, Martinsville, and New Hampshire. Maybe Phoenix, but that track's a bit fast. Definitely not Indianapolis for obvious reasons (so probably a good thing they're using the road course layout this year).

Banked ovals might be passable, but again, need to be slow enough for the tire to handle the load, but quick enough to not make fans think they're seeing the Rose Parade; so Daytona and Talladega are already eliminated from this conversation. Gotta factor in visibility as well.

Right now the earliest oval race that they would consider using rain tires on is New Hampshire.

I really wish we could properly simulate a wet race at Dover, they would be able to run close to the outside wall to avoid most water, that would be quite a challenge. Not sure I would like to see what would happen in a restart crash tough....

Considering Talladega has been a complete joke for a long time and supposedly great drivers still don't know how not to cause accidents there, I don't really get the

Good for her.

If the car doesn't break and she misses the wrecks, she's all but guaranteed a top 10 based on recent superspeedway trends.

I'd be amazed if she keeps it in the draft for more than like 3-4 laps. She could be so slow she will indeed avoid all the wrecks ahead and salvage a Top 20 finish given the potential crashfest.

After the crapoola Cody Ware pulled off at Martinsville I wonder how long will James Davison stay there to begin with?

Pure ARCA brakes by Self there.

First one was because of a puncture?

I thought so at first but watching it again, Self was driving a damaged truck back to the line at a reasonable pace. JJC limped across the line and then immediately just stopped in the middle of the track. Self probably should have done better but she sure as shit didn't help matters by doing that.
