I give it a 6.

The 2 best teams of the year fighting until the end was nice, but the lack of exciting races, was not good. The COT give us nice racing in tracks up to 1 mile, but the cookie cutters are too much and the racing isn't good.

EDIT: Oh, and Goodyear really fucked up some races, like Talladega and Indy, which was a fucking joke. But i'll not say "get Hoosier back", because they were awful at the ARCA race at Talladega too.

5, really a meh season.

I gave it a 2.. for a whole season, there really wasn't much excitement at all, way too many farce races (Indy, most of the 1.5+ miler follow the leader races).. Chase wasn't exciting, etc.

I'd give it a 6.5, which would round up to 7. It was a pretty shit season, but the big difference was how epic the restrictor plate races were. And when it all came down to it the right guy won in the end. But the COT is shit, and so is Goodyear for the most part. And I swear, the governing body is in the same league of making shitty decisions as the Bush Administration.

Truck points battle: 7 points
Nationwide points battle: 21 points
Cup points battle: 69 points

The chase sure makes things more exciting....

Gave it a 6. Had some moments during the year but trailed off big time the final 1/3 of the season. Best part of the season was spring entering summer. A lot more interesting when Kyle and Dale were battling at the top of the points imo. The Chase was a bust this year, not good at all. Let's just hope next year is MUCH better. I also agree that Goodyear fucked up a lot of races this year.

A five. It had some really awesome points and some extremely mind-numbing points.

I actually gave it an 8. Maybe a 6 would've been appropriate but anyway, the COT produced a lot of good racing and even though the Championship fight petered out near the end, that's no big deal as it's happened a lot of times before but the races were still quite good and that's what's important for me.

Ten points for memorable races at Bristol, Martinsville, fall Phoenix, Talladega, Daytona, and Darlington (although it is abeit boring)

-7 for very forgettable races at...everywhere else.

It's getting a 4 from me. Pretty much below average by my standards, in part because of Kyle Busch's dominance during the first 26 races, Johnson's third straight championship, established veterans like Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth getting shut out of victory lane, no first-time winners, and most of the races were a joke.

I gave it a 4, there were some genuinely awesome races but the overwhelming majority of the rest were either meh or shit.

I gave it a 3. I honestly don't remember much of what happened this season and actually missed large portions of most races without even caring. That's just sad.

Not brilliant, but not boring either.

6 or 7 I'd say.

I will continually give NASCAR a 1 until they abolish the chase.
