So nothing happens all race but 3 cars run out of fuel on the...I dunno, 3rd lap from the end (I'm also watching mute while watching Aussie stuff lol)

If they all wad it up now and NASCAR gets clicks and viewers for a "big one" they'll still call it a job well done

If NASCAR gets their big one out of this, I'm sure everyone will be happy (except the owners) :whistling:

Shane Van Gisberg 3rd is about the only good thing about that race....

Knowing from the start of the stage its going to be fuel milage and no one was going to make an effort to pass really made this fun for the fans. Chet from Weird Science winning is the cherry on top.

It’s remarkable how terrible NASCAR has made this place.

Didn't watch either race yesterday, did nothing of note happen at all? They really have killed Atlanta if so.

I watched most of the Truck race and two Xfinity stages. I didn't noticed anything special. Few laps after restarts they were all going into single, outside line. Not a single car on the bottom line. It reminds me kinda of Darlington races

It’s nothing like Darlington.

Well, it was a fast and simple comparison. I'm watching a ton of NASCAR races like you but I'm not that into "yeah this oval have 10 degree banking this one have 12 so they're totally different" etc. It was just first thing in my mind, since iirc they used to race only top lane a lot at Darlington, next to the wall. That's all what I was thinking about. Please remember that I started watching every race live from 2010 season so I'm not used to single file races like in the past :D

It sounds like IndyCar on Texas after that compound was applied.

Joey Logano's No. 22 Penske team faces the prospects of a severe penalty next week as a result of a safety violation prior to Sunday's NASCAR Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

During Sunday's pre-race inspection, Logano's team was discovered to have driver gloves that did not meet SFI specifications. The gloves were not only a safety violation but also a competitive issue, as the gloves were discovered to have been altered to provide a potential competitive advantage.

Allegedly, the team webbed his gloves between the thumb and index finger so he could place it against the holes in the window net, potentially to reduce drag during the full-throttle qualifying lap

lmao

The cars are so slow that they are having to come up with insane shit like this to get more speed out of them.

Making this a superspeedway race really means the wrecks are the only source of entertainment. Excellent start.

I'm quite sure this will be the only wreck in the race... Until the overtime
