Good call from 48 to finish 2nd. I did kinda want Hamlin to nail him on that last lap.

183 ahead now. I think its over.

Jesus christ, that team can't have a bad day it seems. I wish that race was much shorter than it was so I could've had a different result, oh well.

Edwards interview when he was told Johnson finished 2nd was hilarious :D

Good drive, but to no avail with the 48 still adding to the point lead. Kinda glad Im skipping Homestead this year for the Daytona 500 next, I couldnt take seeing 3 straight years of Johnson hoisting the championship trophy :x

And once again, a kickass run for AJ Allmendinger. Seriously, Evernham should tell Sorenson "get a new ride, this kid's way better than you!"

Sucks that Hamlin didn't bin it and took Jimmay Jawhnson with him, but oh well. The way things are right now, Carl needs to win all three remaining races.

It's just incredible what the 48 team can do sometimes. :o

I don't what anyone else thinks, but I really liked watching everyone slide all over the place today, even if it did mean the racing wasn't anything all that special at times.

Earl is the offspring of equine, so Jimmie Johnson won this race IRL :flag:

I slept through the race (stream was crap, so after about 30 laps I just said screw it, it's only Atlanta). Looks like Johnson is going to win the Cup again, which doesn't bother me as much as it does most others here, because there are 4 drivers in the Chase that I like less than him.

I hope that...
...A.J. Allmendinger gets a good ride for next season.
...Patrick Carpentier will also get something - at least in the Nationwide Series.

And 10 years ago I would have never thought I'd say this, but it would be nice to see Jeff Gordon win one of the final 3 races.

Was a decent race, Was great to see a huge bounce back from Jimmie so close to the checkered. But I think he was over driving his car to much, Maybe the thought of being only the second person to ever do it may be getting to him. But either way he always seems to over come anything that's thrown at him. We'll have to see how the next 3 races unfold. Hopefully no more of these qualifying rain outs.

You guys are starting to reach Carlos Mencia-esque levels of unfunniness. And please take that the way in which it's intended, because I say this as a friend who wants to see you all succeed...

Lets be honest, it doesn't take a king to know Mencia is horrendous.
