Seeing Blaney get pissy about Ross racing him is amusing considering that he did the same thing to Ross last year.

Was Ross potentially winning a championship that race? (If you're referring to the last 2022 race at Phoenix then fair point.)

Not saying he shouldn't have raced him hard, I thought it was great racing and nothing truly beyond the pale, but I think any human in Blaney's position would get annoyed given what was on the line. From what I've heard the post-race gripes started with Ross commenting about Blaney using the bumper once he got fed up with the blocks.

Regardless, this sport needs as many Chastain playing the villain moments as it can get.

Yes, Blaney was the best non-Championship runner at last year's finale and certainly didn't wave Ross through. Nor should he have done.

I didn't mind how Ross raced Blaney. I just wanted Blaney to smarten up and think big picture (which he did).
