I didn't catch practice or qually for the trucks, could someone post why they are doing the "competition caution" with 3min pit stops? Thanks.

When the Trucks aren’t doing companion events with Cup or Xfinity, the stage breaks are 3-minute red flags with non-competitive pit stops so the teams don’t have to fly out the top pit crews and pay for all that. A lot of the good crews work in Xfinity and Trucks (and I guess some might even do Cup as well even though the lug situation is different these days). Apparently there are even some guys out here using IndyCar spotters today as well. Zane Smith, for instance, is working with Grosjean’s spotter.

#20 was sideways trying to slow down, #14 had no chance once the #5 was sent back up the track.

Thompson was having an amazing day. Then got messed up on a couple restarts, caught in a bad spot, and now he’s on a stretcher. :(
