90 acres is being kept and a short track built on it, the other 400 acres have been sold for commercial development which will likely change to housing eventually meaning NIMBYs will move in then complain about the noise from the race track and it’ll eventually close because it’ll only be used once a year and be too expensive to run.

Even before I got to the part where you talked about the noise, I had the same thought. Quite the recipe for disaster.

The track will have to be built first, which is not guaranteed.

Looks like the mystery is solved on who hit the cat. Wasn't Bubba.

WARNING: Video shows image of cat after it met its demise

So they throw cautions for invisible debris, stage points or a car doing harmelss spin somewhere off the track, but wont do so for an actual animal running on the track?

You know, I hate to see an animal go that way. That being said....

I find it funny that stray cats are already moving in before they even close down the track.
All we needed was one of those Skid Row homeless tent cities pop up in the trioval grass in the middle of the race.

Still, going out that way...quickly...beats the heck out of what goes on with millions of other less-cuter animals at slaughterhouses.

Yeah, that's some bullshit if that's the case. Mind you I didn't watch the video, nor will I ever, so I don't know the timing of it happening vs when it first appeared on track.
