Pastrana just drilled Hill and sent him into Herbst.

Okay, Hill's rolling but suspension apparently wonky.

At least the racing was more exciting so far.

I hate to parrot David Land, but this race doesn't feel as special as it used to.

At the risk of sounding like a bitter old race fan, I liked the old format better. Front row lock in, then Top 14(or 15) race in, speed determines the rest. When they changed the rule to lock in the Top 36, it just made the race a practice session for 75% of the field, or 90% these days considering two of the open cars lock in on speed. If we get to a point where only 40 cars show up for the 500, is there even a point in holding these races? I feel like that day is coming sooner than later.
Go ahead, I am a bitter race fan, about to turn 40, so I guess not old yet. I agree with you 100%.

I used to sneak headphones into class in grade school and highschool, just so I could listen in. Plus I played hooky from a first job or two for the same reason. I barely feel like wasting my time now. My wife dutifully gave up our evening knowing I'd be interested in what was going on. Oops.

Duel 1: the last lap was where the race started

Duel 2: the last lap was where the racing ended, though not in a big crash as it looked like it was going to be

Seems symmetrical in a way

One of these should work: http://aces5.usite.pro/nts0217.html and/or http://aces5.usite.pro/n0218.html
Edit: the first one should be without ads, the second has pre-race show

Zippy qualified 6TH for the ARCA Race!

Nick Sanchez won the pole for the truck race in Rev Racing's truck series debut. That's quite an impressive feat.
