The Duel 1 Winner Joey Ogan

It's called Duel 1 because there was 1 lap of good racing.

Just make these 20 lap races so I don't have to waste so much time watching. They aren't going to do anything until the last 5 laps.

Wondering myself. Surely there can't be anything of competitive use on the dash?

Nothing different to last year is it? They didn't blur them then.

I can understand in Formula E but not NASCAR.
Maybe the digital tach looks like a penis?

Jimmie sponsored by Carvana of all places. Might as well be sponsored by FTX.

Just start all 42 and honestly make the Duels the glorified practice session that they really are these days.

Proprietary info team to team is why they're blurred according to Bowyer.

What the hell could they have on those dashes?

But muh TRADITION

*realises we've just spent the past 2 pages talking about how nearly every single thing about Speedweeks has changed since we started watching*

Yeah, fuck tradition, do what they said up there.

First yellow for Visibris

Best racing of the year so far (obviously, not hard though)

The Visibris was a side window but disappointingly the car that lacked it didn't do six or seven sidewinding snap rolls on the backstraightaway as you can see in that.

That's who I was watching this for too :(

His week has been a shit show.

At least the racing was more exciting so far.

I hate to parrot David Land, but this race doesn't feel as special as it used to.

At the risk of sounding like a bitter old race fan, I liked the old format better. Front row lock in, then Top 14(or 15) race in, speed determines the rest. When they changed the rule to lock in the Top 36, it just made the race a practice session for 75% of the field, or 90% these days considering two of the open cars lock in on speed. If we get to a point where only 40 cars show up for the 500, is there even a point in holding these races? I feel like that day is coming sooner than later.

I was just thinking, I'm not staying up to 2:30am to watch a boring race won by Kyle Busch

Now we have a race, I guess!

Both Pastrana and Hill were in that, it looked like Travis ran into the back of Austin while they were trying to avoid that.
