How can you possibly be pleased enough with yourself to celebrate after driving like that?

I feel somewhat ashamed of myself that I even bother to watch that bullshit anymore.

I didn't even realize Jones is going to JRM next year. And due to that wreck, Gibbs is now facing 3 JRM cars in the last round of the chase. The remainder of the season could be pure gold.

Typical move of that driver who's only there because of nepotism

The most frustrating thing is: that’s not quite 100% true. Yes, he has THAT ride because of his grandpa, but he really is so fast and talented. He’s just about the last guy in the whole garage that needs to rely on dirty driving, and yet he’s far and away the dirtiest of the whole bunch (which is some achievement when you share the track with Noah Gragson).

There has been a fight on pitlane, although it isn't who you think it is.

I like that there's guys like Ty in the sport that I can look forward to booing for a long time to come, KyBu has aged out of that role and we need someone to fill it.

I don't like NASCAR not even making a token effort at any driver standards now; blatant wrecks like that should receive some sort of penalty or at least a disapproving look. When every race is decided by Bowman Gray-type shenanigans, it makes everyone the villain and guys like Ty don't even stand out anymore.

I don't know how many times we have to say this, last name alone != nepotism.

yeah he didn't need to resort to this kind of driving and someday it'll bite him back. Could be next week, could be next year

Man, I want this kid to die so bad.

Maybe Jones will just wreck him next week to guarantee he loses the title.

I so hope so... don't have nothing to lose, that's for sure. Go out of JGR in style to Jr. Motorsports next year.

*Ty Gibbs PR team after the race* "Ok we get you're not sorry for what you did, but mention Jesus in your post race presser and that'll play well with the NASCAR base and a lot of them will like you again"

Ty Gibbs: "What happened to me was exactly the same as what happened to Jesus Christ"

*Ty Gibbs Pr team*: "CHRIST NO! Not like THAT. Jesus Wept!"

I remember in the Gospel when Judas said and I quote "I just wanted to rattle his cage"

whats worse is that he was already in on points. he could've let his teammate win and both been in the playoffs (yes, that could be a disadvantage, but he obviously hasn't figured out yet how important relationships are to your career).

I think it was Judas that said "I'm not wearing that damn noose"
