Majeski won the truck race. Obvious teamwork by ThorSport to keep Rhodes in the playoffs.

It would be so cool if the mastermind behind NASCAR Playoffs in died ASAP.

Homestead is kinda weird because it has all the ingredients for good racing, but for some reason it usually comes off as underwhelming even though all those key ingredients (tire wear, multiple grooves, racing room) always play out.

probably because it was the season finale or late in the season so everything gets jaded by the bullshit playoffs

track itself is one of my favorites

It seems like a few things end up working against the racing at Homestead. It's the type of track that tends to really favor having one or two cars nail the setup and drive away from the field. Because there's so much room to race, and because the field gets spread out since it's such a have-or-have-not type of track with the car setup, you end up with very few cautions to throw any monkey wrenches into the equation. Because the top groove has become the dominant one, it's hard to pass on the bottom, so it can be hard to get into clean air and make a move. I still really like the track overall, but it can lend itself to some boring racing quite often if things go the wrong way.

Larson is quite pushing the boundaries today, quite literally

Truex's fault. Nearly missed his box and stood on the anchors whilst in the 'fast' lane.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
