Figured I would make the thread this week, since NASCAR is almost literally in my back yard. (I live 2 miles from the track)

Cup race is the last race of the first round of the playoffs

Xfinity is the final race of the regular season

Trucks is the first race of round 2 of the playoffs

ARCA is just...... there.

ARCA had 29 cars enter Bristol. The top 22 were within a second in qualifying.

Sammy Smith wins the ARCA Race.

Ty Majeski gets his first career truck series win after showing the speed to win a number of times in that truck and tonight he managed to find victory lane.

There were still 5 cars that I saw who were at least 6 seconds off the pace. And the 03 whoever that was was about 10 seconds off. It got lapped on lap 3.

New litmus test: you know Noah Gragson won a race when you find vomit inside his helmet/on his firesuit

Not feeling any optimism for this car on short tracks. Processional again, so far.

There’s been a lot of talk about the stiffness of the car itself being a possible cause of the short track struggles. What about the lower profile tire? I’m not mechanically adept enough to game that out, but could it be a significant factor as well?

Chris Buscher wins! 19 different winners this season, ties 2001 for most all time.

I had Chris Buescher in the Random Fantasy Game this week. First time I've had two winners in one year. I had Harvick in one of his wins earlier this year, as well.

i'm really liking the onboards for every car now. i've been muxing them with the radios

here's a better view of one of the incidents. nbc thought 21 lost a tyre when it was actually the 10 ramming the 2 out the way. then the 2 gets a lil payback by hitting the 10 under caution, which i think was missed by tv. the 2 still seemed pissed when he drove into the back of the 10 during the restart crash
the 10 radio was hilarious, they were constantly cussing out lap cars
