That race really fizzled out when the rain stopped huh

It was so much fun in stages 1/2 with people taking different lines, charging around the outside of each other, spinning out etc

Then the rain stopped and despite the traditonal nascar attempts at late race yellows to spice it up, it all was very processional

Would love to have seen more of Kimi's onboard though, he definitely fought from like 32nd to the top ten.....twice!

Part of me kinda wants to use the "pussification of motorsport" meme (remember that one?) to describe how NASCAR handled the beginning of the race, but part of me was kinda glad that they waited it out for as long as they reasonably could (lightning strikes didn't help) to avoid COTA II Electric Boogaloo.

The race was fine. Mix of good racing and strategy. And kudos to Kimi Raikkonen for showing that he can keep up with the big dogs for half of the race before Ross Chastain made more friends.
