even as it's my home track (san francisco) and it has all the ingredients of a good road course (elevation changes, etc), and even with the new cars being more racy and fun to watch sonoma still somehow manages to put on some of the most boring racing on the calendar.

at least with the new car you could see the drivers rotating the car around the corners, or struggling to hook up when hitting the throttle. i went to the race last year and the cars were so stable and glued to the track it didn't look like they pushing the cars at all. boooooring

Late to the party but I knew Daniel Suarez was capable of winning a race this year with the speed he's shown. A number of times something would happen that would ruin his chance at a win. Everything came together for him on Sunday and he got a much-deserved win.

I was really impressed with how he kept his head when Buescher was behind. Also, no matter whatever else happens in NASCAR 2022, it's safe to say Trackhouse's incredible results this year will go down as the biggest surprise of the season.
