I suspect Harvick knows he had his chance and it didn't work out. And Elliott ended up coming out of it fine and now has too much at stake to mix it up with the 4 anymore this year. |

Here is the madlib for any xfinity races. Welcome to ______________ (speedway) for the _____________ (company you never heard of) 269. Over _________ (1-9) hundred fans have turned out to cheer on these drivers. The _________ (54, 22, 16) car looks to be the favorite. There's the green flag and Tommy Joe Martins _____________ (something race ruining) in turn 2. During pit stops _____________ (Herbst or Allgaier) is penalized for speeding. Hemric wins stage two. Hemric somehow comes out of the pits in 7th. The _____________ (54, 22, 16) car comes out to a big lead but oh no that's Joe Graf hard into the wall, it looks like Jesse Little is involved too. This sets up the GWC. Somehow ______________ (Hemric, Burton, Jones) lines up in 2nd. And the ____________ (54, 22, 16) wins by a second and a half. |

The most amusing part of yesterday's race was seeing the black gunk completely fail to do what it was supposed to. It was ice for the first third, then there were about 20 laps where you could run both lanes at a similar speed, and for the rest of the race it was far faster than the bottom groove so no-one could pass. Dig the fucking track up, put the banking back as it was, and then you are guaranteed at least one good race a year from Indycar. NASCAR is beyond salvation. |

To be fair, even in the glory days of the gen 4 cars, cars would often get aero loose when door-to-door. |
