I don't know anything about Chase Briscoe, but he seems like a complete shithead. That was among the dirtiest driving I've ever seen.

I... feel... for Denny Hamlin? That's a strange sensation!

Anyway, yay Allmendinger!!!

I imagine that as a young open wheel driver that AJ Allmendinger dreamt of winning at Indy. I don't think he could have imagined winning in a stock car on a road course at Indy driving for a part-time team. Also, great post race interview with shout-outs to Robin Miller and Bob Jenkins.

Briscoe is officially listed as 'parked' in the final results. I wonder if that would have happened if he actually won the race?

You know what's sad about this race?

It was decent...right until the end. That late safety car period changed the complexion of the race much more than anyone imagined.

And the sad part is that Briscoe did get penalized (although seemingly harsher than usual, he would have been relegated back there anyway) for...the same thing Bubba got dinged for. I know, rules are rules, but race control must have left their brains in Charlotte yet again. Even worse...the kerbing was fine until that part of the race in particular.

And I thought Nashville was a shitshow...this was even worse. So bad, NSH simply just stands there in awe.

With that being said, I'm glad IMS management didn't see it like most people did and wrote the race off just because of the dumbassery on display within the final 10+ laps, as they're willing to give it another chance.

I didn't watch this race but it's good to see AJ winning again. I was a big fan of his when he was in CCWS with Forsythe and RuSport. Honestly can't believe how long ago that is now. :8:

This was a perfect race........

For Stadium Supertrucks, a track with the ramps built in would save them a lot in logistics of bringing their own ;)

Still, has any other race weekend had so many entries into the Major Air List? :8:
