The most outspoken, hot-headed driver in the series just crashed because NASCAR was too hesitant to put safety first. And even he is too cowed to share his honest feelings on the situation. NASCAR is irredeemable trash.

ehh, it's fair. There's no blue flag rule, and even if there is, they won't operate it like F1. Aric dealt with it like how I expected him to do: shove him out of the way (but not outright wreck him).

Glad to see Aric Almirola win. That team has had some miserable luck this season, so this win should be a big lift to them. For the record, I had Hamlin in the Random Fantasy Game. I've got one of Rick Ware's shit boxes for Watkins Glen.

I gotta say, I enjoyed the race a lot more than I thought I would. I think about how many more races we would have like this if we didn't have stage bullshit.

Just finished watching. It was a really good race, I don't know why Loudon gets the bad rap it does as I quite enjoy the style of racing it provides.

It's even funnier when they held off applying the PJ1 due to impending inclement weather (they were gonna apply it after the NXS race overnight because they didn't want to mess with the mods), and this track is one of the very few tracks where the compound actually works.

Turns out you don't need the stuff to have a good race...who knew...
