How things have turned around in my years of watching motorsport

When I was a kid, F1 raced in conditions like this and NASCAR would go home at the first sign of rain

Now as an adult, F1 is scared of rain and NASCAR races in torrential rain

Since Chase Elliott is the leader, NASCAR will call it IMO.

The problem is with the uphill/downhill sections the water won't go away. I bet they didn't expect having so much rain in Texas (not that I know how often it rains in Texas in general).
