Nothing wrong with dirt, but you have to run dirt cars, not asphalt cars with dirt tires. This is why you've never seen one of these truck races on a heavy track with bite in it... And you never will.

Also a proper dirt track that drains properly not shoving a load of dirt on top of an asphalt track

This.

Lonesome Pine/Clay Valley learned this lesson a couple of years ago.

I'm impressed by people on reddit thinking all they needed was the late models to run a couple more laps and the track woulda been good to go.

perhaps if they make some dirt ramps and call Robby Gordon they can turn the track into a stadium super trucks venue

It's almost as if...there's a reason why WoO didn't even bother making this an annual thing after they experimented with it in the early 2000s...

Just run the Miss Budweiser a few times around the track and it’ll be good to go.

Why don't they cover the track in rice? Apparently that works when your phone gets wet

The truck race is now scheduled at 9 PM, after the Cup race. I think it's kind of funny that all of the Cup drivers that are in the Truck race for extra experience won't get that extra experience beforehand and now have to stay late to run the Truck race.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

How fucking stupid do you have to be as an organization to not see everything going on through the night and think there’s a chance it’s going to get better during the day.

People are already fucking trapped in floods and NASCAR thinks it’s a good idea to bring more people into these situations by trying to run the event as planned today?

No way are they racing today... Or tomorrow... Probably...

I wonder if NASCAR wises up and pulls the plug entirely... LOL

Oil up the surface and light it on fire, that should dry things up.

Maybe get the mayor of nearby Knox County to help; I heard he used to be a fire demon from Hell or something.
