There's dirt covering Bristol Motor Speedway, which means there's all kinds of Dirt racing this week, from kids in Late Models to adults in.....late Models.

Cup Drivers will be taking to the Dirt in Late Models (what else?) later in the week, including Kyle, Logano, Austin Dillon, you know, all the cool guys that bring us happiness just from showing up.
They're mainly running it to get experience for next weekend's Bristol Cup race on the Dirt according to the quick googling I've done.
There's no chance they're doing this for the love of dirt racing and because they love racing cars away from the pressure of a Cup race? Noooo, it's all to feed the beast that is NASCAR, of course)

Anyway, it's the 1st year of what will hopefully become a new annual tradition, but who knows.

Schedule:

Mainly, I don't know shit about shit and I should've waited until one of those American lads that knows about this kind of thing started a thread,, but the main thing is, there is a stream HERE:

https://www.twitch.tv/dirtracin2021

(Currently grading the track at the time of posting, which means the tractors are watering and the track is WET)

Amatuerly bad stream clip:

Damn, this twitch clipping thing can make us all feel like cool video posters like Toto or Mattzell or TBK- himself, or one of the other great video posting lads of the past

Looks like they can only replay stuff if it's caught live and not anything that is missed by the live stream director.

Oh well, still better than nothing

Bowman Gray regular Luke Fleming also was sent to the hospital with leg injuries from what I've seen pop up on Facebook.

Was that the second to last feature before it rained out? I remember the big red flag and then the next race just sorta ran a while late.

Pile up as a front running car loses a tyre out of the 2nd course, bounces off the wall, comes down and takes out 3 more on its way to the inside wall

Red Flag

There's been a shoulder barging wreck coming to the green of one heat, and now we're watching the driver who wrecked stomp around with his steering wheel and throwing it like a ninja star at the car he thinks caused it

He's done it 3 times so far and I think he's hit the actual car that slightly nudged him once.

And it was mainly due to first turn bunching, not anyone's fault.
